THE BUILD SESSION
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 October 2026 · MotionPlay Labs Ltd
1. The workshop
The Build Session, Founding Cohort 01, is a private online workshop on Saturday 24 October 2026, 2:00–5:00 PM, including 21 days of follow-up support. We may make reasonable adjustments to format or schedule and will notify confirmed participants by email.
2. Applications and selection
Submitting the form is an application, not a booking. Every application is assessed (Guided Builder, Review Required, or Foundation — future cohort). Only Guided Builder applicants may receive a payment invitation, issued at our discretion. We may decline any application without giving reasons.
3. Fees and payment
The fee is £50 GBP or ₦85,000 NGN depending on the currency you select. Card payments are taken through Stripe Checkout; your seat is confirmed only after our server verifies the payment (a receipt email follows). Manual transfers, where offered, confirm a seat only after we verify and record them. Prices include any applicable taxes where required.
4. Capacity
Founding Cohort 01 is limited to 8 confirmed paid participants. Availability shown on the site reflects verified paid seats. If more payments arrive than seats (e.g. near-simultaneous checkout), later payers are waitlisted and refunded — see the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
5. Your responsibilities
You need a computer, internet connection, and the accounts we list in onboarding. You agree to attend personally (seats are non-transferable without our written consent), to behave respectfully toward other participants, and not to record or redistribute workshop materials without permission.
6. Consumer rights
Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights. UK consumers have rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a 14-day cooling-off period for distance purchases — but where you expressly request the service to begin within that period (a workshop on a fixed date), you acknowledge the right of withdrawal may end once the service is fully performed, and a proportionate charge may apply for services already supplied. Nigerian consumers retain rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018. Our 24-hour cancellation cutoff (see Refund Policy) applies subject to these overriding rights.
7. Liability
We run the workshop with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, technical failures outside our control, or outcomes of projects you build. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fee you paid.
8. Contact and governing terms
Questions: justin@motionplaylabs.com. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales for UK participants and the laws of Nigeria for Nigerian participants, without limiting mandatory local protections.
